I often hear others complaining about the president or showing discouragement in regard to the upcoming election. There is always an opposition on tough decisions in relation to touchy subjects such as; the war in Iraq, foreign policy and immigration. I feel that Americans are taking for granted the benefits of a Democracy. Are we forgetting how other countries fair without a Democracy? There are alternatives to democracy and I strongly believe plan these alternatives are not viable for the people of the United States. I will discuss the alternative forms of government, which are aristocracy, monarchy and communism. I would like for Americans to realize that democracy is the best form of government for the people of the United States. One alternative form of government is aristocracy.
