I am going to discuss, the advantages and disadvantages of fossil fuels, nuclear power and alternative energy. Another point what I am going to review is Global warming and how it will affect us. Finally, I am going to discuss my views on how we can save energy and what I think the UK should do to use less energy and save more money. A fossil fuel is a non renewable fuel that is found underground within rocks and made from ancient remains of plants and animals for example coal and oil. Most of the electricity in the world is made from fossil fuels; also oil is turned into petrol and diesel, if we had no petrol we wouldn�t be able to travel very far. Electricity and petrol are vital for technology these days. Another point is, although coal and oil are easy to get too, opencast mining uses up large areas of countryside�s, this will cause disturbance to local wildlife, and result in causing noise, dust and will create an eyesore for the surrounding environment.
