Gap Analysis: Harrison-Keyes In an effort to remain competitive in the global publishing industry, Harrison-Keyes has started to implement a new e-book publishing strategy. Even though Harrison-Keyes executives protested the idea of the e-book they decided to pursue the publishing initiative because it promises a larger profit margin and revitalization of their diminishing performance in the publishing industry. Currently, Harrison-Keyes is facing several challenges with this new strategy as the company replaces CEO, Meg McGill with William Guardo. William Guardo has a completely different view on the e-publishing scheme than Meg McGill had. He favors traditional; he has little high-tech experience, and is not a big fan of e-books, (University of Phoenix, 2008). However, William Guardo does not completely oppose the e-publishing idea and has given his leadership team 30 days to address the oversights in planning and implementation. If the problems are not solved he will consider stopping the project and commencing upon another initiative to bring the company back to life.......
