Every child can remember their first family pet. Whether it was a cat, bird, or frog that pet was there best friend. Someone they could turn to when they were feeling down and things weren�t going their way. Well I can remember my first pet which was a puppy. I can remember my joy and happiness because I had a friend. Until one life altering experience that changed my outlook on dogs forever. Fear of Dogs I can remember the day I became frighten of dogs like it was yesterday. It was a hot summer day and I was about 7 � years of age. My grandmother needed my uncle to walk to the corner store for some jiffy mix. I wanted to go because I had 50 cents that I wanted to spend. On the way back from the store my uncle noticed that the neighbor�s dog was out and running loose. My uncle left me behind and crossed the street. I was left to face this huge massive dog alone. I thought that I could out run the dog, but boy was I wrong. He jumped on me, I was face to face with this huge panting and drawling dog over me I was terrify.
