Barack Obama or John McCain Throughout the presidential race so far there have been many issues brought up about taxes, going green environment friendly, and immigration. Both of the presidential nominees have different views on the majority of the issues and similar thoughts about some of the issues. So who would be a good candidate to vote for president Barack Obama or John McCain? Barack Obama, son of Barack Obama Sr. and Ann Dunham. He was born in Hawaii and was raised by his mother and his grandparents. He attended Columbia University and graduated in 1983 and moved to Chicago where he helped neglected neighborhoods with high crime, and unemployment rates.
