The fact that so many people associate Freud with Psychology does not always mean that he was the founder of psychology? Or anything near that in fact. In this critic, Crews reviewed Freud and Psychoanalysis without actually being polemical, but comes up with different theories and facts that most people did not know about the so called �Legend� Freud. The Review goes into details of Freud�s methods and his studies including well known patients and what the real outcome was in these cases (not just what Freud claimed them to be). Even though it is a critic it does give valid arguments to the methods and assumption Freud made without any scientific evidence. Sigmund Freud (1856�1939) was an Austrian neurologist and the founder of the psychoanalytic school of psychology and psychiatry. Freud is considered �the Father of Psychoanalysis�. One of the main occurring arguments made towards Freud was how �Psychoanalysis has proved to be an inefficient method of removing neurotic symptoms�. F.
