Watching the Grammy�s, VMA�s and other award ceremonial shows gives us a glimpse of who influences the famous entertainers we love. When they get up there and chatter away acting as if they did not know they would win is usually when we can tell who they find important in their lives. To be exact, it�s when they recite their long list of people they want to thank. I�ve realized that a lot of people tend to leave out one of the most important person; their mothers. This however was not the case for rapper and producer Kanye West at the 2008 Grammy�s where he performed singing �Hey Mama.� This performance must have been really hard but also very meaningful for Kanye West because he performed this song in front of thousands of people less then a year after his mother�s death.
