Courage In the story The Adventures of King Arthur, courage is the most important chivalry code because it reveals a true leader in anyone. This story is one big dramatic love trap that each knight couldn�t help but be in. One short story after another was just about love or death. Sir Lancealot sacrificed himself for victory and to become a more courageous leader by going to were no other knight had come out alive which were death. Courage pushes out the weaker competition. "'know have I a sword, and how will I wage battle with him and be avenged on him" (p. 15) There is enough courage for King Arthur to become the bigger knight but looking for trouble. Even though he is far from the other knight he pushes his way no going to a far search trying to find that one knight that has betrayed him and his people. Being courageous can show that giving up is not an option. "'I will assay thee Sir Knight, or fact for I have lost the honor on horseback" (p. 11) Going against other competition can really ......
