As the subject of constant media coverage and a possible motive for the war in Iraq, problems surrounding oil shortages can no longer be ignored. Peak oil, a theory that was once frowned upon in the scientific community, is now widely accepted and has become a question of not �if� but �when�. The increasing demand for this nonrenewable resource is more than just a grievance at the pump, but a symbol of our country�s need to develop an innovative solution to an inevitable problem.
