Robin Williams stars as Tom Dobbs, a late night talk show comic who decides to run for President after he receives four million encouraging emails from his fans. Through the malfunction of computerized voting machines, Tom Dobbs wins. Winning comes as a shock to himself and everyone else, including his manager (Christopher Walken) and his head writer (Lewis Black). Dobbs� campaign was thought to be a total joke, something to give everyone a good laugh, and a way for Tom Dobbs to unleash his comic rants on the powers-that-be.
