Ann Millard, Jorge Chapa, and Eileen Diaz McConnells �Not Racist like our Parents� take a view from the people of today to see where Latinos stand with racism. This chapter starts off simply with �To oppose racism one must notice race� (102) this section continues with several studies and focuses on what is being said by both Latino and Anglos, Anglos being English speaking white people. Most of the time we keep hearing about how no one is racist, if no one is then why are there still complaints? Well as we continue to look throughout the chapter we see many types of stereotypes, or discriminations are being brought up. A clear point is made that our main focus is going to Mexicans in this chapter, how appropriate sense Mexicans are one of the biggest groups discriminated against.
