Mothers Against Drunk Driving Special Interest Group (SIG) is a group of people who shares the same interest for the same or different reasons. In this country alone, there are many known special interest groups and the numbers are growing rapidly each day. Many of these interest groups may have some valid arguments; their approach to expressing their concerns is not. However, this is not the case with MADD. In this paper one will discuss how MADD came about and impact on policy making. Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) is a non-profited organizations with more that 400 entities throughout the nation. MADD is not a campaign against alcohol use as some may believe but MADD�s objective is to stop driving drunk, support the people who have been affected by drunk driving and put an end to underage drinking.
