IMMORTALITY We, humans live in such a way that is immortally or mortally. We can choose whether we are going to focus on aspects which will end and/ or to those aspects which focuses much on eternal possibilities of life. The way we are living life is greatly affected by the emergence of both death and immortality. We are both living mortally and immortally in such a way that there is awareness and understanding with these aspects. We know the fact that we, humans live mortally, that we are moving toward death but we have at the same time the sense of immortality, a life that rises above death. There is much desire for us to acquire the immortality, yet this dimension has been brought to us since we were born. We desire immortality for the sake of having a long-lasting relationship which will last forever. We detest the truth of saying goodbye to someone who has already passed away and so, we strive to keep the relationship to them by remembering and glorifying them.
