Culture, then is �the beliefs, customs, practices, and social behavior of a particular nation or people�(EWED) and also �a particular set of attitudes that characterizes a group of people�(EWED). Thus, one can reason that violence can be a part of culture as well as influence it, both as an attitude and as a practice. Violence can influence a culture to the point where there is nothing civilized left. The most profound examples of violence being an element of culture that has the authority over all things good can be seen in the texts: David Banner�s Stop Attacking the Kids, John Singleton�s movie, Boyz N the Hood, and William Golding�s Lord of the Flies.
