As a child, I grew up in an oblivious environment, where my favourite superheroes came on TV every Saturday morning, and I thought to myself, �I want to be just like him, the perfect hero�. Then it happened, I grew up. Many come to realize that there is no real life �Superman�, who is a marvellous hero and positive role model for the youth of today. Some may believe that the concept of being a hero and a role model are the same, when in actuality the two are very different. In any case, it would not be difficult to generate the opinion that a hero, and a role model are identical, because of the many common characteristics that the two share. On the topic of common characteristics, one of the standout characteristics that a hero possesses is courage and a hint of bravery. It is evident that the greater majority of heroes boast these traits, and are great attributes towards what makes them a hero.
