Ever since I was little I loved music. Its part of the school curriculum in Germany, so I can�t even remember when I learned how to read notes. I did learn the recorder when I was a child which I remember I quite enjoyed. I took lessons in a little group, being taught by my neighbour. When I started to play piano at the age of 10 we had regular performances in front of all the parents in the music school, which absolutely terrified me. Not because of all the people, but because I was not asked if I wanted to play. So that was the end of my piano career; for the moment anyway. As a teenager I joined a band as a keyboard player. I quite enjoyed it, as not all eyes were on me and it didn�t matter if I missed a couple of notes. In fact, what I liked most about being in this band, was, that I discovered that I�m actually quite good at composing and adding harmonies.
