However, despite many attempts to hinder the faith of the Jews, the Jewish community has remained faithful to their God, their culture, and most importantly their identity as Jews. One special aspect to Judaism is their identity as Jews not only religiously, but also for many Jews nationally. The Jewish community has stuck together through their destitution, and now many Jews share a national identity as Israelis.
