In Richard Bulliet�s book, The Case for Islamo-Christian Civilation, the author approaches a topic that is not often discussed. In the book, Bulliet created the term Islamo-Christian civilization. This phrase, according to the author�s best knowledge, has never been used by anyone other than himself. This expression does not include the societies of Christians and Muslims everywhere. He describes this slogan as relating to the historical basis for thinking in Western Europe�s Christian society and the Muslim society of North Africa and the Middle East. So now that we have pinned down the geographical societies that will be reviewed in this paper we can focus on the issues within the issue. In the following paragraphs I will discuss the main arguments the author uses in his writings to defend his thesis. The thesis in this book concerns the historical influence, concurrent growth, and the successes that show the relationships shared between these two societies.
