Abdominal lymphangioma Case presentation 59 year old male gentleman with good past health complained of epigastric discomfort for 2 months. He had no other complaints. His appetite remained good with no weight loss. Physical examination was unremarkable. Blood tests including complete blood counts, liver function tests and renal function tests were all normal. A gastroscopy was performed and gastritis was noted with no Helicobacter pylori. As his symptoms persisted, a CT scan was done. CT scan showed an ill-defined low density mass at right iliac fossa among the mesentery. The mass measured 6 x 3.7 x 4.2cm, and it encased branches of superior mesenteric artery with no obvious compression. The differential diagnosis were : post-inflammatory loculation, tumour infiltration and malignancy such as lymphoma Laparotomy revealed a mesenteric mass of 6cm in diameter, near the root of mesenteric vessels at distal ileum.
