Through out the years of the United States, many injustices have risen. With pilgrims running Native Americans off their land, to putting Japanese in �relocation centers� after WWII, our country has shown many flaws to �liberty and justice for all.� Asian Americans have not missed their share of the injustices. Asian Americans; Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, and Korean have first off been blended into a single group. As most minorities today, Asian Americans have come to America to work. Along with other minority groups, they have come here by both choice, and force. In American�s young years they have been major supply of the labor force. The Chinese people have come to work, and work they did. Between 1860 and 1880, nearly 10% of California�s population was Chinese (Race and Crime,2009). With these huge numbers it was not if they would be treated unfairly but when. The Chinese were soon forced into their own cities with inhumane living conditions.
