My community is a very small community, being that it is such a small community we are all very close some would say as close as family. Now our community is separated in different directions some of the reasons for race and some for ethnicity and some for culture. Personally I take race and peoples ethnicity very seriously but when it comes to where I live it is a little different. People around here speak out words that hurt others they have always said the N word and I have been called a spic before. I don�t know if they act this way because they are truly raises or if they are afraid of new things. Many of the people who live in Shamrock Texas have lived here all of their lives and some have moved away but over 85% of them have all returned. The community is divided in many different directions. We have our Hispanics or Port Ricans together. Whites are divided on the amount of money the family makes. All of the African Americans stay together and each of the groups has their own hang out places such as bars and even car washes. I would first like to give the reader......
