Media in today�s culture is a new way of life. Skinny women representing the ideal body image is what our eyes are being subjected to. Why all of a sudden is this craze to be deadly thin a must in order to be perfect? Being in shape is a must, but that means eating healthy, working out daily, not hearing stomachs growl every second. Advertising on buses and in books are even cases that can be found outside of your own home environment. The media has such a negative impact on society in so many different ways. Women are shown as stick thin figurines that can hide behind a flagpole without an inch being revealed. While men are shown as body builders with a clear sculpted face that a diamond couldn�t even chisel. Why is this the case when in fact real beauty is in the eye of the beholder?
