A play where characters produced a strong reaction in me was �The Winslow Boy� by Terence Rattigan. The character was Arthur Winslow and with him, his daughter, Catherine Winslow. The play is about a young, teenage boy called Ronnie Winslow who is expelled from Naval College after being accused of stealing a postal order. Feeling that he was not given justice, his family make every effort to give him a fair trial. Arthur is a witty, intimidating man but what people don�t realise, even his own family, is that he is kind and loving. Only his daughter Catherine seems to know him well and when asked if Arthur scares everyone, she says �Dickie is, of course; and Ronnie, though he doesn�t need to be, Father worships him ... I�m not - ever.� Even Ronnie who Arthur �worships� is afraid of him and this made me feel sorry for him especially when he showed how loving and caring a father he was: �Are you so frightened of me? ... I shan�t be angry with you, Ronnie � provided you tell me the truth. But if you tell me a lie, I shall know it, because a lie between you and me can�t be hi......
