One of most difficult things in life to justify is revenge of life. Even in the malicious judicial system, sometimes people have a trying time deciding what truly is justice and what�s not. Personal feelings can get tied in, although they shouldn�t, and this can blanket one�s mind to what the true justice of the situation is. Yet, every time we do the story is the same. Someone is murdered, then a close friend or family member will avenge the untimely and unfair murder of their companion leading to a tedious trial were they argue what real justice is. Unfortunately, �Killings� by Andre Dubus is no different. Although the story is classic , it is also very predictable as to what is going to happen. The most interesting aspect about the piece, though, is in the emotion of Matt Fowler. We step into the Fowler household directly after tragedy has struck. Matt�s son Frank had just been murdered. Instantly, we see what kind of family the Fowlers are in response to the funeral. By the other son, Steve saying �I should�ve killed him�(speaking of who killed his brother), the mother, ......
