In Plato�s the Republic, an ideal state is one that is just. In Hillside High the ideal state is one where everybody does there part, take responsibility for their actions, and be truthful. Teachers and students would have to set aside prejudices and come together to better Hillside High School. The research question that will explore all of the prejudices that exists in Hillside High is: What Fallacies exist in terms of teacher student instruction? Some of the fallacies that plague the educational system in terms of teacher student instruction are favoritism, predetermined conclusions on classes, labels, and what is expected from certain students. Many students misinterpret the way teachers interact with some students as that teacher showing favoritism. These are the types of misinterpretations that cause there to be a lack of trust and care for students towards teachers. When students were asked if they thought their teachers showed favoritism towards some students 40% said yes and 44% said sometimes.
