Tupac Shakur is a well renowned rapper and has had hit singles all over the world. What most people don�t know is that he didn�t only write rap songs, he wrote poetry as well. Maybe rap songs are just poems with a beat, but his poems are nothing like his rap songs, his poems say a lot more. Tupac has made many kinds of poems and I have examined five of them: �I cry�, �And Tomorrow�, �Jada�, �In The Event of my Demise�, and �Fallen Star�. They are all amazing poems, and they all have different meanings, which is why these poems caught my eye the moment I read them. I chose Tupac because personally I�m a big fan of Tupac, mainly because of his songs, but now I�m becoming a big fan of his poetry. The way he can express himself through poetry is just so cool. I wish that one day, if I try hard enough I could be able to write like him. Tupac Amaru Shakur was born on June 16th 1971 and died on September 13th 1996 (Online, Thugz-Network). If he was still alive today he would be 37 years old, that�s still pretty young for a guy that�s already made it big in the music industry......
