HIV is a dangerous, life-threatening disease that attacks the human body and results in the formation of aids. HIV tampers with the body�s power to fight off bacteria, viruses and many other harmful diseases. Short term symptoms are rarely present in the beginning; however, by the time Aids develops, symptoms such as chronic diarrhea and blurred vision begin to take over the body�s ability to function properly. The transmission of HIV can occur through sexual intercourse, usage of contaminated needles, mother to child or even through sanitary conditions. Statistics show that 25 million people have died worldwide from cases of HIV and approximately 15,244 patients die from HIV every year. Countries, such as Africa and India, contain horrifying numbers of HIV patients. In the United States of America, people containing HIV range between 800,000-900,000 cases, in which one-quarter are not even aware of the disease. African American women and foreign-born women are major carriers of HIV in America. The disease is contagious, affecting the lives of other humans and even offsprings......
