Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; an Allegory Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

In the world of allegory in literature, there is one story that sticks out. That is The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Almost everyone has heard of the story and its connection to The Bible. The most popular book of the series is The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. There have been many adaptations of the book into movies and radio shows. Most recently, Disney produced a live-action movie in 2005. When one reads this book or watches the movie they can almost immediately pick up the allegories contained in the story. Lewis was a converted Christian and had previously written some stories centered on the Christian faith. However, he has stated that he did not originally intend to incorporate or allegorize Christian concepts into The Chronicles of Narnia. But, it is without a doubt that Christian ideas and Biblical concepts are found throughout the saga.
