Macintosh VS Microsoft In today�s computer age, there are two different types of people, Microsoft based, and Macintosh (Mac), PC users. Both are very passionate about their computer and will stand up for them as well. This allegiance places the person in a �computer paradigm� (Distinct concepts). Many people never even think about switching from a Microsoft based PC to a Mac or vice versa. Why do people treat these two personal computers to be so dissimilar? The answer is both Microsoft based and Macintosh computer�s systems are unique in ways such as their cost, their user friendliness, and their functions. First the lowest cost of an ordinary Microsoft Based PC I�ve seen after research was around three hundred dollars, as to the lowest Macintosh I recorded was around twelve hundred dollars. This is a nine hundred dollar difference I�m sure a personal computer consumer will just not ignore.
