In the reading I seen that Rodolfo �Corky� Gonzalez was one of the main people in the Crusade for Justice, which was a movement against the Vietnam War that he has been involved in since August of 1966. Gonzalez and Munoz (one of the main people in the Chicano Movement and the Chicano Moratorium) would eventually meet and had similar views of how the Chicano people should have equal treatment. There were many talks about how they should hold protests on the Vietnam War with only Chicano people running the protest, but also be able to have the presence of non Chicano�s embark on the experience and protest. The reason for this was because the most whites had different reasons why they were against the Vietnam War then the Chicanos. There were plans being drawn up to have the massive protest in the summer of 1970 in Los Angeles. Before they can do it, they had to hold smaller protests before the summer in order to get the word out, and those were held in December, February and also one in March in Denver.
