In his book "The Way Things Ought to Be" Rush Limbaugh speaks on the way schools choose to distribute condoms to the kids that attend public schools. Limbaugh, believes that the message that condom distributors are sending is border-line deadly, and also that giving kids condoms encourages sexual goings-on and it takes away from the teaching of abstinence. He also believes that condom distribution in schools is exactly what is wrong with public schools. He states, "Advocates of condom distribution say that kids are going to have sex, try as we might we can't stop them". He goes on to give some extreme ideas on the matter. He says, since we give condoms to kids who want to have sex, why not just give the kids guns, untainted drugs, low-tar cigarettes and even provide clean beds and disease free hookers to the kids that want to do those things.
