Role of youth organisations in nazi propaganda Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Throughout the Third Reich various measures were undertaken to synchronise aspects of everyday life in Germany with Nazi ideology. This was undertaken to aid in the creation of a Nazi society and thus achieving a totalitarian state led by Adolf Hitler. The youth of Germany were especially subject to aggressive indoctrination of Nazi concepts, with education being seen as a crucial medium to influence the views of children. The establishment of various youth organisation also greatly aided in this education process with perhaps the most famous example being the "Hitler-Jugend" (Or Hitler Youth) however there also existed the "Bund Deutscher Mädel" (The League of German Girls). The Nazi party believed that it was necessary for all aspects of life to be integrated with Nazi ideology. This belief was described by the party as"Gleichschaltung" ("making the same") and enabled the regime to achieve a totalitarian state led by Nazi principles under the Führer Adolf Hitler.
