Does physical appearance affect people's perception of leadership capabilities? We make judgments on other people all the time either subconsciously or purposely but where does our initial judgment or first opinion come from? We would all hope that we would be judged on our education, experience, skills, accomplishments or even our personalities. This study attempts to find out if any of those attributes are what other people notice about us, or are we first and mainly judged solely on our physical appearance. If we are, I can't help but ask questions like why am I trying so hard? Does anyone really care about my degree, intelligence or accomplishments? Should I be more focused on my physical appearance like the way I dress and managing my weight? Should I spend more time in the morning in front of the mirror fixing my hair and make-up and less time preparing for the big meeting that day?
