Aristotle, a wise Greek philosopher once said, "nothing is so unequal as the equal treatment of unequals". This is evident through statistical terms, as women are the largest disadvantaged group in Australian society today. Good morning Ms Carpenter and fellow classmates, today I will be evaluating the woman's status under the law, the mechanisms used for achieving justice for women, and the responsiveness of the legal system. Beneath these headings is the criteria I will be using to base my evaluations on.
