There are multiple ways of classifying pesticides: 1. Fungicides: Fungicides for the control of fungi and oomycetes. Most fungicides are applied over a large surface area to try to directly hit every fungus. 2. Herbicides: Herbicides for the control of weeds. These chemicals are a bit different from other pesticides because they are used to kill or slow the growth of some plants, rather than to protect them. 3.
