Unfortunately, however, in the world today, a realm of deceit and bias, the definitive line between truth and false becomes hazy at best. This is an era of facts being questioned and beliefs being forgotten. The neutrality of this so-called �oetruth” has been modified so we now must give it a new definition: �oeTruth is whatever a powerful and influential person makes it”. Is this right? Is this the truth? Who should one believe? Today, it seems, the one to believe is the one that has the best argument and the loudest voice. Regardless of good or bad intentions, the truth should never be withheld from the people because then our world spirals into a mistrustful and mislead society with no light in sight. The present is a world of �oeinstant news” and �oemass media”, where information of all types can reach all corners of the earth in seconds.
