The customers include: * US government * auto parts suppliers * electronic consumer products * raw materials (polymer) for manufacturers of plastic products * Any customer requiring special accommodations such as wine and computers. The company is the first major freight carrier to outsource 100% of its information system support. Smith Systems Consulting performs all finance and accounting systems application support. Huffman finance and accounting systems are all tightly integrated with the Fleet Maintenance System and the Enterprise Transportation Application. The finance and accounting software is the system used at Huffman trucking. All business transactions are recorded and used to generate reports for management.
