When I think of a skill that most people have, but have not mastered it would have to be the skill of communication. Communication is one of the most important parts of our lives and doing it properly can be the difference between having good things happen and not. When I speak of communication I a.m. not only speaking of speech, there are other things that make up the skill of communication, and I will cover them in this essay. To begin with I would like to cover speech. When we talk to someone we give off a vibe of whether we are trustworthy or not by how we speak. So many people talk in what I consider gibberish. When I a.m. speaking to them I very nearly am confused by what is being said. As an example of this I would like to tell a little story of something that happened recently at work. A coworker was speaking to me and trying to tell me the things that had happened during the day. She was using all sorts of terms that I did not understand. Finally I had to stop her and ask her to PLEASE tell me the information again, but to PLEASE use terms that I could underst......
