Essay of Transformations in "Taming of the Shrew" by William Shakespeare During the play of "Taming of the Shrew" by William Shakespeare, many transformations took place. Many of the characters changed from who they were in the beginning. It is almost as if, they were different people. However, the transformations were not negative; the readers saw the true colours of the characters and finally understood them. The main people in the play who transformed were Bianca, Hortensio, and Kate. Bianca didn't end up to be the perfect girl that everyone thought she was. Hortensio banished his love for wealth. Kate changed into the perfect wife a husband could ask for. Although the repercussions of the transformations weren't good, the changes themselves were positive and enlightening. In the beginning of the play when Bianca was introduced, she was seen as the perfect women. She had many qualities that a man looked for in his future wife. She was calm, quiet, didn't speak unnecessarily, didn't make a scene, and she was gorgeous to look at. She was the kind of wife that a man would like......
