Human Rights Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Section 28.2 contains three pieces, two of which are underground notes dictated by Nelson Mandela. These two notes from the underground called his people to action against the South African Government. The third piece is a word for word conversation between Mandela and a South African Magistrate. The piece illustrates the racial injustice of the South American Government and the unnecessary adversity Mandela and his people were forced to endure. In these three pieces Nelson Mandela is often pleading for racial equality. The first piece is titled "Non-Collaboration is Our Weapon". Mandela defines non-collaboration as noncooperation with the South African Government. At this time Mandela is frustrated that he and his people provide back breaking labor and support the economy by elevating the local industry. Yet they cannot be supplied with fair wages. That they are not allowed to vote for government leaders but are still required to pay taxes and unfair housing rent that also benefits the government. Mandela's plan of noncooperation is a nonviolent method of fighting the government.......
