Managing school, work and my family obligations are very difficult. There are times when I feel like a professional juggler trying to keep all the balls up in the air afraid that if I drop one everything will come crumbling down. Many college students I have talked do not have the added pressure of a full time job, family life and school to deal with. If they work they have part time job and at least have some time to relax. As for me I am trying to balance it all and come out a better person. I work full time an alternative high school and my hours are 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm. My work schedule conflicts with many things because my hours fall right in the middle of the day. I either have to get up early and run errands before work or find another day to do things because when I get off everything is closed. I love my job and even though the hours are crazy, I would not trade it for anything else. I enjoy working with young people and the experiences I am gaining will help me with my future plans of becoming a guidance counselor. My work schedule only allows me to attend morning classes......
