I started the practice of martial arts when I was a wee lad of about 6 years old. My childish ignorance at the time played a large role of the disinterest I had in the practice. I remained so very detached from said sport for number of years near the general vicinity of seven. But I soon came to realize that is was much more than just a sport; it is a lifestyle of 110% dedication and pure moral judgment engraved into every action. Practicing the art provided a training ground for not just my physical body, but for, among other things, respect, dedication, and most significantly of all, humility. When I was about 14, I questioned what my purpose was in the dojo. Why was I there 5 days a week? Thus I began my quest for a higher meaning than form memorization. I met Grand Master Choi at about the same time. Upon entering the OMAC west school, I was astonished by the high level of order and discipline at which the class was conducted.
