Comparison of the Women of Arms and the Man and The Importance of Being Earnest Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Out of the four main women characters I find that Cicely from The Importance of Being Earnest can be best paired with Raina out of Arms and the Man based on their many similar characteristics, and that Gwendolyn from The Importance of Being Earnest can be best paired with Louka from Arms and the Man based on their many similar characteristics. She finds his reputation of being a "bad boy" intriguing. She creates a fantasy world around the idea of Algernon's alter-ego "Earnest" where they are courting and then become engaged. All of these things make Cicely and Algernon a good match in The Importance of Being Earnest......
