Company Overview Dr. Riordan founded Riordan Manufacturing in 1991, after obtaining patents from processing polymers into high tensile strength plastic substrates (University of Phoenix, 2003). In 1993, Riordan manufacturing Inc, expanded its business in the production of plastic beverage containers at their first manufacturing plant in Albany, GA. As of today, Riordan Manufacturing operates in three different locations, riordan has custom plastic parts being produced in Pontiac, MI and plastic fans parts in Hangzhou, China, this in addition to the plant in Albany, GA. Some of riordan's customers include automotive parts manufacturers, aircraft manufacturers, beverage makers and bottlers, appliance manufacturers and the Department of Defense (University of Phoenix, 2003).
