The collaboration process is the main key in every successful theater play followed for years. Arthur Laurents play, Gypsy, displays a frustrated women, performed by, Patti LuPone, whose ambition and fantasy of the imaginary spot light fuelled her life. Thus, the master artists, Arthur Laurent's, Jule Sryne, and Stephen Sondheim, brilliant collaboration and creativity was well appreciated through the phenomena of light and sound, costume design, and scene design exposed in the play. As the curtain part for the first time, the orchestra was first seen behind a two scrims. The scrims rise as the music of the composer begins. The rhythm, tone, and dynamics of the music in relation to the fade and cues of the footlights turf out the sound-light codes.
