Abortion is defined in the Encyclopedia of Psychology as "an operation or other intervention to end a pregnancy by removing an embryo or fetus from the womb" (Oxford University). Abortion was legalized in 1973, when the paramount case of Roe v. Wade passed in the Supreme Court. Since then, there have been 1.31 million abortions each year. It is ethically, logically, and emotionally wrong for anyone to have an Abortion. Logically abortion takes a life, and it is not safe for mothers. Ethically, the Bible deems abortion as morally wrong. Lastly, emotionally, abortion can scar women and ruin the family. The Pro-life and Pro-Choice movements have major differences in what they believe. Pro-Life followers believe that life is sacred and denying someone their life is wrong. They believe that no situation, career prospects, or a woman's welfare can justify taking away an innocent life. They believe that there's no difference between killing a two month old embryo to a two month old baby. Pro-life groups also try to help women prepare and deal with the stress of having a child.......
