King Henry the 8th was a Spoilt Fool with an apitite for the blood of his wives One mans' foolishness can lead to derision and public contempt. But the foolishness of a king can lead to decisions of destruction and death like no other. A court ruled by a fool is a dangerous place to be. A foolish king is made to believe the gossip of his subjects, whispered scandals that can be played to the favor of one family and the demise of another. A foolish king would make irrational decisions based on his varying moods and not regret them until it was too late. A foolish king was Henry the 8th of England. He was called the golden boy. Appointed king at the young age of 17, due to the death of his older brother Arthur, he was no more than a spoilt child, thrust into a position he wasn't expecting or properly fit for. He was just the 'second child', catered for and cossetted with all of the reward but none of the responsibilities that his older brother Arthur had been trained to accept.
