Mythology is the passage way in which we can further explore our ancient history. It is the key through which we can unlock our mysterious past and discover more about our early behaviours. Myths help us to understand how the ancient people envisioned their world, and help us to know how we came to believe what we believe today. Although mythology can be dated back to as early as the 12000 BCE it still influences our lives today, through religion, science, literature and will continue to influence it in the future. To start things off, what is mythology? Why was it created? How does it influence our activities today? Myths are spoken in written stories which have been passed down generations through generations. They often try to explain one of the biggest mysteries; existence.
