The introduction of contemporary scientific analysis and style in the seventeenth century changed European culture as the contemporary scientific analysis increased to philosophical understanding at some point in the Enlightenment of the eighteenth century. When the nineteenth century arrived, this new science became a justifiable and increasing occupation; the physical aspect of the world, society, and biology, became an area under intense discussion of the scientific world and under much scrutiny. Many researchers and psychologists believe psychology first appeared with the Greek philosophers such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, and Hippocrates (also a Greek physician). These ancient philosophers believed the brain controlled or restricted many parts of the human body. After the Greek philosophers, discussions about human psychology became commonplace.
