For example, Procter & Gamble and Vodafone are teaming up with third parties to cut costs. Tata Group in India leverages on their in-house subject matter experts. On the other hand, Research in Motion, the people behind Blackberry, is increasing their investments for innovation. But these are the Goliaths of the industries. What about the Davids of businesses, the SMEs? 99.2% of Malaysia businesses are from small and medium enterprises and contribute to as much as 32% of the countrys GDP and 56% of total jobs. The contribution for SMEs is expected to increase up to 37% by next year. In such a competitive landscape, SMEs are urged be creative.
